TRANSCENDENCE

Deepak Chopra once said that life without transcendence isn’t worth living. A Course In Miracles speaks of the Holy Instant, those magical moments when we escape the hell of the delusional dream in which we exist and get a little taste of Heaven. No matter how wonderful one may perceive this physical world to be, it is but filth compared to the glories of Heaven. At least that is what I believe and have experienced. Don’t get me wrong, I am a very positive person and look for and enjoy all the good and beautiful things I can find in this world but I know the truth and it has set me free. My angel friends and ascended masters refer to it as the Sacred Moment, when something wonderful overwhelms you, something wonderful that this world can’t provide. It may come at anytime or anywhere. Perhaps you’re standing on top of a mountain enjoying the view or swept up into a beautiful starry night and you suddenly feel oneness with the universe. A Course In Miracles says we should strive to make every instant a Holy Instant. And I’m sure you sre aware of how difficult that is unless you are a holy man or woman living alone on top of a mountain secluded from the madness of the world. And that’s why transcending moments are so important.
Meditation is a wonderful way to transcend. I started meditating decades ago and it took me three months practicing daily to achieve mindless meditation, which is one of many forms of meditation. Age and my physical condition prevent me from formal meditation, sitting cross legged on a cushion on the floor but I can sit crossed legged in my easy chair and meditate. Thankfully, I’m at a point where I can close my eyes and immediately enter a meditative state. Transcendental Meditation (TM) once was a thing promoted by many corporations for their employees and meditation is part of society in many places today. Be still and quiet the waters of the world so you can hear the voice of God and that you may know your true self which is far beyond anything you can imagine in this world of chaos and confusion. Without Transcendence life isn’t worth living. Thank you for your time and wishing you happy trails until we meet again.  S.M.
